Join us for an evening of improvised comedy at the Water Poet in Shoreditch featuring some of London’s best improv groups and some trick and treating!

Joining us this week will be: Wax Lyrical who will be making up songs and scenes based on audience suggestions. They’ve played with us before and we liked them so much we’ve invited them back for another helping. C3467X will be bringing their mix of fast-paced and slow burning comedy long-form improv. Fusing the various international performing backgrounds of their ensemble, their performance will be something you won’t want to miss. City Impro will then close the night with another set of games and scenes all with a topical twist that will have you laughing all the way home.

This Thursday City Impro will be performing a special guest appearance at ‘Through the Shark Door’, a free evening of improvisation comedy in Brixton ripe for your entertainment.

Up on stage will be non de script, who will turn your suggestions into a dazzling display of wit, silliness and fun improv games. Then there’s Five Seven Plus who will draw you in to their intense stories with rich characters and slow burning action. Our hosts Shark Door will invite you to play one of their games and create some equally silly and compelling scenes of their own. Then of course there’ll be us, City Impro with our set of fantastically funny games and scenes all with a topical twist.

The Saturday Mornings will be bringing us lots of games and scenes all with a Saturday morning kids TV show theme.

Stand Up And Improvise are coming back to perform with us again with a brand new stand up comic whose set will provide the inspiration for scenes and stories.

Giggle Loop will be bringing their mixture of fantastic short stories and characters all made up based on single words provided by the audience.

Then to top it all off City Impro will then be closing the show with another set of fantastically funny games and scenes all with a topical twist.
