After a fabulous 8 months at the Ophelia, City Impro will be hosting their last ever Laughterbirth show on Wednesday 15th April. However we’re determined to go out with a bang and we’ve got a fabulous line up of groups coming along to celebrate our last show.

The Alphabetties will be bringing us more dynamic scenes, dubious accents and off-the-cuff funny stuff.

Ahead of their upcoming Late Night Party next week Giggle Loop will be joining us for some fun and games and general funny stuff.

Forming again for a special performance will be one of the hottest groups in London – The Dreaming. Their organic improv combined with avant-garde music creates a somewhat dream-like show which is not to be missed.

Then finally to close the night (and our time at the Ophelia), City Impro will be performing some more amazing games and scenes that will have you laughing all the way to work on Thursday. (FEAR NOT! City Impro will still be performing regularly at other venues across London).

Join us this Thursday for City Impro’s Comedy Club, an evening featuring some of the finest comedy talents, over at The Miller in London Bridge. We have four fantastic stand-ups who’ll have you chuckling away all evening:

Chris Coltrane – a comedian, activist, and writer, whose passionate political stand-up comedy is guaranteed to leave you inspired and eager to protest.

Athena Kugblenu – her cutting lines and notorious one liners have been bringing audiences to their knees with laughter.

Declan Kennedy – described as “unassuming yet fiendish” he’s probably the funniest comedian around who gets mistaken for looking like a geography teacher.

Gabriel Ebulue – a young comic with an old soul, this award winning comic will regale you with stories of his life.

As if that wasn’t enough, prepare yourself as two groups of improvisers go head to head in the most talked about competition around… the spectacular…IMPROV DEATHMATCH.
